Membership, subs & match fees

Senior and Youth membership forms need to be completed by all members so we can update your contact details. Please download using the links below and return during beginning of September to your captain or the Club Secretary.

Important : Under 18's still pay £50 even if they play senior hockey

The above fees include training fees for the whole season.

Please forward payment to the treasurer, chairwoman or team captain at the start of the season – latest by 30th September. Cheques payable to Whitchurch Saints LHC. If you joined mid season then subs will be pro rata.

We are a non-profit making club formed to play hockey. Therefore the destination of your subscriptions/match fees is very well defined. Each year the club pays money to the following in order that the club and each individual can play hockey in the South Wales League.

Pitches vary in cost but are approximately £45 per hour. Match fees barely cover this alone, never mind the travel and umpire costs.

• Training fees
• Petrol expenses to those who drive to away games
• Cost of teas at Powerleague for away teams
• Affiliation of umpires to the WHUA
• Payment of nominated umpires to Premier 1
• Protective kit for goalkeepers
• Training courses for coaches and umpires
• Practice and match balls, bibs, cones etc for training

The club does not seek to make a profit from its members; we merely wish to procure sufficient funds to meet all annual expenses and to provide adequate facilities for our members to get the most from their hockey.

Club accounts are published each year at the AGM and prior to this they are independently audited by a qualified accountant.
